Indiana Heritage Quilt Show 2010

Mary Buvia Award WinnerBloomington hosted the IHQS March 4-6, 2010 at the downtown Convention Center.  IHQS had over 200 quilts on display during the event and held three full days of workshops.  Present at the show was eight internationally know instructors.  Merchants were present to display their fabric, notions, and even booths displaying knitting, needle work and gift ideas were at the show this year. 

Indiana's own, Mary S. Buvia, from Greenwood, Indiana, won 1st for Fabric Art and won Exemplary Machine Quilting for her entry.  Mary spent 14 months, working 10 hours per day on this fabulous entry.
