Indiana Heritage Arts 35th annual Exhibition and Sale

 

2013 Indiana Heritage Arts ExhibitionDawn Whitelaw was selected to judge the 35th Indiana Heritage Arts juried fine arts exhibition and sale.  Hosted by the Brown County Art Gallery from June 08-22, 2013, the Indiana Heritage Arts is a nonprofit organization founded in 1979 and each year sponsors the juried exhibition open to Indiana artists. Dawn had the task of not only judging, but narrowing down the field of entries from 341 to 120. The First Prize Gold Awardof $5000 was awarded to Fred Dolresco for his painting titled “Azaleas“. The Second Prize Silver Award of $3000 went to C.W. Mundy for a painting titled “Silver Coffee Urn and Red Pears". Third Prize Bronze Award of $2000 was awarded to Todd Reifers for "Sledding at Riverside Park. The Board of Directors choose Chris Newland's  "Rolling Thunder" for this years purchase award which will go into the IHA's permanent collection.  The 36th Annual Indiana Heritage Art Exhibition is scheduled for June 7-21, 2014.

Indiana Heritage Arts 33rd annual Exibition and Sale

June 11-25, 2011 - The 33rd Indiana Heritage Arts juried fine arts exhibition and sale was hosted by the Brown County Art Gallery from June 11-25, 2011.  On display and for sale were 135 paintings entered by Indiana Artist and selected by this years, judge Kathryn Stats of Salt Lake City, Utah. The First Prize Gold Awardof $5000 was awarded to C. W Mundy for his painting titled “Creek Near Story “. The Second Prize Silver Award of $3000 went to Victoria Gilron for a painting titled “Freckles. Third Prize Bronze Award of $2000 was awarded to Ken Bucklew for his painting titled “Old Dam on the Wabash”. Fred Doloresco was selected for the directors purchase award for his painting titled “Painting the Cosmos”
